                                                                                                                                   GUEST  LECTURE

NIKHIL GULATI-COMIC Characters

On Friday 11 September 2015 there was a guest lecture by Mr.Nikhil Gulati for grade 5 students.
He was invited to share his comics strips as we are learning about media. An engineer by profession ,Mr.Nikhil's passion is creating comics. He had so far created few stories and aspires to do more.

He like's to draw comic strips to convey a message which benefits others. He learns by doing-creates comic strips on his own,he did not take any professional training.
He creates one and shows it to an artist  and after that he gets to know his mistakes. So by this he gets to know what is his mistakes and how can he make it better.

He wrote the book "Shepherds Hill" because he is interested in knowing the history, when he went to Golconda Fort he wanted to know what is the main history behind it.

He told that "I have done 3 courses which are Engineering, Business and I am doing the course of an artist". This all matches because an engineer makes an arch and an arch comes in art. He asked  us many questions and the students had a lot of fun.

The overall experience was very good. The students had a lot of fun and Mr. Nikhil Gulati was very kind and good with the students. He also taught the students
how to draw faces of different shapes and sizes, through this we  understood few techniques of  making media more effective  and reachable to people. He also gave the school  his one of the comics.
